Dalai Lama: The Middle Way: Faith Grounded in Reason
Wonderful explanation, many thanks. (****)
Charis Anastopoulos: Particle or Wave: The Evolution of the Concept of Matter in Modern Physics (History of Science Physics)
Fabulous so far... Already this is a must read recommendation! (****)
Brian Clegg: The God Effect: Quantum Entanglement, Science's Strangest Phenomenon
Excellent book on Quantum Entanglement - best I've read.
(*****)
Spencer, C. Scoular: First Philosophy: The Theory of Everything
Good reconciliation between Science, Philosophy, and Mathematics.
This is a bit tough to swallow because there is a huge catch-all - the "unknowable" domain. But, we've got the CERN LHC and the LIGO experiments that are coming online and some huge theories are about to fall and that means everyone will be scrambling for new ideas.
Scoular's "interface" theory if nothing else, certainly causes one to categorize what we know and what we don't know - and why.
Interesting read. (****)
Jessica Livingston: Founders at Work: Stories of Startups' Early Days
Not a quick read, but lots of wisdom buried in the comments. Jessica did an excellent job keeping everyone close to the same topics. (****)
Lee Smolin: The Trouble With Physics: The Rise of String Theory, the Fall of a Science, and What Comes Next
Excellent, simply a must read. (*****)
Clayton M. Christensen: The Innovator's Solution: Creating and Sustaining Successful Growth
This is NOT mumbo jumbo, this is a scientific approach to attacking a market - and to understanding what is happening to you. (****)
